About Dr. Kaibara
Born and raised in Canada, Dr. Taro Kaibara received a Bachelor of Science Degree (McGill University), a Masters of Science Degree (University of Western Ontario) and his Doctor of Medicine in Canada (University of Toronto). He completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Dr. Kaibara had the privilege of working on innovative developments with surgical robotics and mobile intraoperative MRI techniques to enhance neurosurgical outcomes through real time MRI images in the operating room before, during and after surgery.
Dr. Kaibara performs neurosurgical procedures regularly at both St. Joseph’s Hospital and Chandler Regional Hospital. Currently he is Medical Director of Neurosurgery in Chandler. Dr. Kaibara treats patients with both simple and complex cranial and spinal disorders, utilizing the latest in surgical techniques and instrumentation, employing minimally invasive approaches.

When not at work Dr. Kaibara spends time with his wife and three daughters and remains active playing golf, baseball, and ice hockey.
